Wow, didn’t see this one coming! Awesome though, I’ve been hoping we’d get a pro on an Omni at some point but didn’t expect someone of this caliber. That front facing picture shows how clean that bike looks with the Alpha one.

let’s hope Matt uses the awesome Alpha One tilt feature…

I just saw that myself. Interesting…

But only if its faster. Unless you are a fellow pro and want him slower.

this must be the clean Etap build Nick said he was going to reveal, he mentioned it in the Alpha One thread yesterday. That bike looks great! Good for Matt!

I’ve always loved how he looks on a bike. And he looks really good on the Omni.

Good pick up for Nick!

He looks great with level arms. Plus, I would think they tested angled arms on his Diamondback in the tunnel?

My personal opinion: flatter arms are a bit more easier to control in cross winds and allow you to just crank away on the pedals more.

Matt’s no stranger to “different” bikes. He loved his Falco. Doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Next month, we will be bringing Matt to the wind tunnel, and one of the things we will test is whether he can get any advantage from tilting his hands upward.

Looks like they intend to at least test it out and the Alpha’s tilt feature is probably the best way to arrive at a *definitive *answer.

He looks great on it. Looking forward to seeing the data from the wind tunnel. Hopefully we can see it!

Big pickup for Nick and Tririg

There are lots of reasons that Matt was a perfect candidate for our first big pro sponsorship, one of which is how freaking awesome he looks on the bike. And yes, with Matt’s permission (which I don’t think he will withhold), we will absolutely publish the results of our wind tunnel studies with him. I’m actually really excited to see how it rolls out. Based on my previous wind tunnel experience, I think the Alpha One will be a HUGE help in getting results quickly, and doing a larger number of runs than you’d be able to do with traditional equipment.

‘This season, he’s upgrading to a full-blown Omni bike’ from a Diamondback Andean…
