There are quite a few in the area. Where specifically is your sister looking - in Boston proper, or out in the 'burbs?
Ruben is one of the best- especially for deep tissue work- his business is under Big Hands Massage Therapy in Medford, MA. He’s gotten me out of several jams when I had some IT Band problems and couldn’t ride the bike. I was out there the next day.
Ooo, I’m new to the Boston area and looking for the same. I’m in Cambridge. Fuelbelt: Big Hands Massage Therapy - I see listed in Winchester - is that the one you’re talking about? Thanks for the recommendation.
Anyone else have someone they’ve used and like?
Thanks.
I’ve been going to Boston Bodyworker (www.bostonbodyworker.com) for a little over two years now. They have several MTs to choose from and a very convenient online scheduling system.
I’ll second the Boston Bodyworker. I’ve been w/them for about 3 years…and they keep me injury free. All of the therapists are trained in sports massage…and they service a large contingent of triathletes.
They book up quick…it’s best to call to squeeze into an available time slot.
I have heard good things about, but have not yet used, these guys:

North of Boston. It’s run by a (former) pro cyclist I believe.
If you PM, I can give you the numbers of 2 great folks. Both ex-souigneurs (SP) and experienced working with athletes.
Kurt
Ditto on www.bostonbodyworker.com. Try to get an appointment with Jim, he is great!
