Just an update, Mario and I (the taskmaster) are visiting the beautiful island of Malta. Plenty to see here, alot of 16th century stuff, we even had a very rare shadine encounter. Stay posted for photos, we even have one of the shadine for your enjoyment. Stand by…
Bikes definitly NOT reccomended. I have been here a week almost and only one biker.

I know there are at least two as I sponsor two athletes from Malta. I even get reports from them that talk about bike races so there might be even more.
Dude, I just sent you an e-mail…
Give us some stories.
Hey, yeah, hey man…
There may be a new Bikesport yacht by the time you get back.
What is a shadine?
I’ve only just come across your post. How is Mario doing out there? If I know him at all he will have put in some serious miles on the island and likely have seen all of the island in the first couple of days. Did he take his B2 or B1C?
Post those pictures soon. Pass him my best wishes.
Good question.
A shadine is a rare animal indigenous to Malta. Needless to say we have spotted at least one, he was a sport playing, beer drinking example…
He has his Felt R1 here in Malta, suited up with some Conti 4 season tyres. We have found that the isle of Gozo is a far desirable place to ride. Going to check this out soon, pictures to follow, we need to figure out how to post them…
Sounds a shrewd choice to me. Tell him I expect him to come back with some genuine artifacts, possibly ceramic tiles if not brass brackets are available
Aderhold went to Snadusky to pick up the new Bikesport yacht today. I offered to help him sail it back across Lake Erie to Downriver from the marina in Sandusky, but he said something about pirates and me having to work so he is there with his associate taking delivery of the new vessel. It is quite a trim craft, far better than the previous scow we were using. Fully kitted out too.
With any luck the shake-down cruise is tomorrow. We’ll have sea trials completed by your return, and will schedule a christening for after your return so that you and Mario can be in attendance.
I’ll catch up with you later.
Oh, I should add- a primary selection criteria for the new craft was an enormous swim platform.
Update: We went to Comino island today, it was pretty cool, the water is crystal clear, good snorklening. Some very desirable “birds” there as well. I still like the island of Gozo better, much more desolite. The bus drivers here are crazy, this guy today was going like 90km/hr down a street like our alley, with cars and people all around, these guys are nuts. Anyhow, we went to Paceville yesterday, there are many discotechniques there, much fun. Got to see Mario in rare form. More to follow, we are going to Jazz Festa today in Valetta. Homosidal truckers, and boy racers keeping Mario from his machine, he is hoping to thumb his way back to Gozo for some riding in the country. We will keep you posted. No way to post pictures yet, these Internet Cafe’s blow.
