I read this with some mild interest until I got to this line:
'Sufferers can become obsessed with their weight or they can obsess over exercise and with how many calories they are eating.
Sounds like me (and everyone else trying to excel in endurance sports).
yeah I have this… the only difference is I’m obsessed with getting faster.
Yeah, if I were concerned about my looks and having the ‘perfect’ hot body, there are waaaaay easier and more effective ways to get there than triathlon training.
This season, I’ve done some weight loss experimentation and calorie obsession to see how my body reacts and how it feels to race thinner. I’ve dropped about 25-30 lbs since November and am currently sitting at ~165 at 6’4".
My wife jokes about me having manorexia and often tells me to eat a cheeseburger… I finally got a look at my Boulder Peak pictures, and frankly, while I’m much thinner than I was, I just think I look like a triathlete.
I like eating Cheeseburgers with bacon, thus why I’m a CLydesdale…

Love it… “These men exercise… everyday! If not more!!”
