Hope you all have the chance to watch this live.
It was pretty amazing. Ended up with Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin endorsing Kamala because the opening âcomedianâ made fun of Puerto Ricans and immigrants for his entire set.
Edit to add this tweet l:
I donât get that. Heâs a comedian. His job is to make fun of people.
Now, it can be argued he was the wrong person to hire for such an event, but he did exactly what anybody who is familiar with him would expect him to do. I thought his set was funny. Probably not appropriate for the moment though.
Like who is this convincing?
Did they forget their costumes?
Did you steal another profile pic?
Lying, stealing, and trollingâŚit is the MAGA way.
he told a tasteless, vulgar joke about the size of Hispanic families, mentioned watermelons as he called out a Black man in the audience and mocked Palestinians as rock-throwers and Jews as cheapskates.
Sid Rosenberg, a conservative radio host, referred to Hillary Clinton with profanity and a sexist epithet. And Grant Cardone, a businessman who spoke early in the program, referred to Ms. Harris as if she were a prostitute. Later in the program, Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News host, mocked Ms. Harrisâs racial identity and intelligence as he jeered the idea that she could win in November.

Deplorable
I havenât watched it, but i heard Rudy got a standing ovation. Nothing but the best people.
Yeah, think about that for a minute.
Another speakerâs quote âwe need to slaughter these peopleâ.
So much unity.
That profile pic is actually pretty funny. Thatâs some top notch trolling.
Make fun of people?
Did you see him the roast of Tom Brady? Much of the same. Heâs certainly not the only edgy comedian out there.
Funny the Kona Race Recap in the main forum had a video of the MSG rally.
Was he roasting Trump, Vance, etc? Or using Racist Tropes?
The former would have been funny, the later hopefully cost Trump millions of votes.
The fact that Trumpâs campaign put out a statement denouncing him means that they are actually worried.
Every time I checked in on the proceedings it either conspiracy theories, or crude and offensive insults. Trump and his friends and allies have yet to reveal a decent, empathetic or intelligent sentiment.
I think AOC put it best on X:
"And before people try to act like this is some PC overly sensitive nonsense, Iâve been to Kill Tony shows. Iâm from the Bronx. I donât give a sh*t about crude humour. But donât pretend that your support for Trump is a joke. Own it. You doing a set to support him. Thatâs a choice.â
Itâs not about the words that came out of Tonyâs mouth. Itâs about him saying them in support of Trump. Tony could have done that same set in almost any other context and you wouldnât be hearing about it because the jokes themselves are a non-issue.
This. Itâs one thing to do âoffensiveâ bits in a comedy show. Lots of funny comedians are really offensive. Itâs another thing altogether to do racially and ethnically offensive comedy at a political rally for a Presidential candidate whose movement is in large part about divisive rhetoric.
Heâs appealing to his base.
