I have two iphones and three macbooks in the house. Over time, the macbooks stopped recognizing the iphones, and will no longer charge or backup the data from the iphones. I’ve tried several connection cords with no success. Any ideas?
I hate it when that happens. I have seven MacBooks and twelve iPhones and they do the same thing sometimes

You probably have a mismatch in the software version for each device. Try to marry them only two at a time (that means: no playing the field and no bigamy) by updating with compatible versions within each marriage.
