In general terms, is there a method for calculating lactacte threshold heart rate? Also, does LT apply the same to workouts on the bike and run?
My roadie friends stay below LTHR (say 153 bpm) on non-specific training days while my running friends stay below aerobic max (say 143 bpm) for non-specific training runs. So, in general, is there a difference of 10 bpm between the two? And why the difference in HR if they are basically doing the same, which is attempting to ride/run slow?
