Just a quick question - is it that at this time of year all workout should be under 70%. I have done this on bike and run and I am crawling along.

Slow now, fast in the summer…build that ENGINE!
70% MHR seems a little low for the run. Personally, I stick to approx 65-80% MHR in the off-season. Or, Aet-20 to Aet+10. If you use Karvonen, 55-70% is more applicable.
