I had a blood chemistry profile done recently as part of upping my life insurance.
Everything on the test came back normally, and consistent with the blood tests I’ve had done recently (3/12, and 3/11) - except my globulin levels, which came back at 1.8 g/dL.
As best I can tell (from reading the urine test results) - I had no WBCs/RBCs in my urine, and the protein/creatinine, micro-albumin/ creatinine ratios low/normal.
In 3/2011 I was 2.6.
I had the test done in 3/2012, but I can’t find the Globulin value on it (I either lost that page or it’s labelled differently).
Not being a medical guy - I’ve got no idea what this means and am meeting with doc in 2 hours to get more info.
In the meantime help me prepare for this:
Any questions I should ask?
Any other indicators to look at to know if I should be concerned?
Should I be concerned?
