I recently switched from Firefox to Chrome. It runs MUCH faster for me. Anyway, I REALLY REALLY miss the advanced editing bar that Firefox and Internet Explorer users get. I even tried spoofing my browser user-agent, but to no avail.
I’m a huge fan of Chrome as well. You’ll find there are certain site that just aren’t Chrome friendly yet. I own a few businesses and use Constant Contact quite a bit and they don’t allow Chrome users to edit pieces in Constant Contact.
It’s much faster IMHO.
Are you using a mac?
3 month bump. I still miss my advanced editing bar! (Can’t make my pink-font posts!, and inserting img/url tags is painful!)
I don’t know how complicated it would be to update the forum code. Seems that Chrome tries to be MORE standards-compliant than IE/Firefox?

+1. This would be huge. A mobile site would also be nice (as I type from my BB).
I went back to Firefox. Chrome just was not cutting it.
I use Chrome. I actually prefer doing all my editing code-style. Unfortunately, it’s not that Chrome isn’t compliant. It’s that the it’s just too new. I’m about to upgrade the forum software. When I do, then we’ll start to do address some of the lack of functionality in Chrome.
I use chrome, and I love it. It actually came pre-loaded on my laptop! Go Google!!
