Looking @ Rudy Project glasses - any recommendations?

I need to pick up a new pair of cycling / multisport glasses. Not too familiar with the fit and function of all of Rudy’s glasses. Anyone have any recommendations? I have a smaller face, so preferably a smaller glass. I’m thinking the EKYNOX SX SPORT. Thoughts, comments, etc??

just went through the same. i thought i had a smaller face too. ordered some regular glasses, and thought THEY were small, so be careful. My suggestion - order 4 or 5 pair at the same time. When they arrive, pick your favorite and send the rest back (easy return, they even pay shipping). Try a couple styles at the same time. Warning - shipping from CA is slow. A guy on the forum sent me his discount code if you need one - hopefully he’ll respond

I have the Ekynox and Ekynox SX, the regular Ekynox glasses are pretty big on your face, but both have enough of an upward arch in the top of the frame to allow good visibility in the Aero bars. If I had to pick one I would go with the SX, and I have a normal to slightly big noggin.

Recommendation oakley radar with the vented lens.

Absolutely! Go for the Rydon II. I have three pairs of Rydons and I LOVE THEM. My wife got the Rydon II for her small face and she loves her’s too!

The new Swifty is a pretty swell pair of glasses, too.

I have Rydon’s with interchangable RX lenses (clear and sun) I have been very happy with them to date, however, I have noticed that the corner of the lenses are beginning to crack after about 1.5 years. I called to see about getting the RX lenses replaced and they said it was approx. $300 per set!! Of course the non RX lenses have a lifetime warranty, but not the RX. The also mentioned that they have a new style that does not crack. Finally, when I complained, they offered me a $50 coupon, but I have to buy new frames as well… not too much of a discount.

So the moral of the story, Rudy Project Rydon’s are probably good if you are doing non RX, but be a little careful of the customer service. If you are doing RX, be very careful, shop around, and ask lots of questions before settling.

I have Rydons, my son has Magsters but I would suggest the Rydon II as the Rydons fit me fine but I use a size large Rudy helmet.
I don’t know anything about their customer service for Rx glasses but I do know that they have responded same day to any emails I’ve sent and I’ve talked to their customer service folks as well as the President of Rudy North America (about other things, not customer service). Extremely helpful and responsive, all the way up the food chain.

Ekynox SX fits small faces very well - especially if you have a narrow bridge.

x3 for the Rydon’s. Get the Polychromic ImpactX lenses, nice for rain and sun and virtually industructible.

Thanks for all the input, this is why I love ST!!
