Looking for bike fitter in Houston, TX

I had a bike fit on my old bike (2011 Cannondale Slice sz50) two years ago. Should I get a bike fit for my new bike (2017 Cannondale Slice sz 48) or have the shop transfer the numbers over? To be honest, I don’t know or feel anything wrong with the old fitting. If I need a new bike fit, who would be a good fitter for Houston, TX and surrounding area? I have Tad Hughes on the list so far. I am willing to drive for a good fitter.

Thanks,

Tad

Jason at Society Cycles (they just updated all their fit equipment to the latest and greatest. May want to give them a few weeks to complete the install).

Would be nice if people would post some pics of the fits from these different fitters.

A second shout out for Jason at Society Cycle Works - in Sugar Land so convenient if you are on the southwest side of town. Also this is a great independent family run shop that is a great community partner.
I do ride for a team they sponsor but stand by the recommendation.

This is mine at Tad Hughes on my Cannondale Slice.

What are your goals? What is your FTP and typical bike split?

I am one of the slowest one out there. My goal is 6 hrs and under while being comfortable for the full distance. I haven’t do a FTP test lately. My past full distance bike rides are ranging 6.7 - 7 hrs. I will sign up for trainer road in the next couple of weeks to help that.

Fit from Tad looks good then. Just have the bike shop transfer over the coordinates to new bike.

So how do we get in touch with said Tad???

Awesome!!! thanks Guys!!

The TT and tri work I’ve seen from Philip Shama is good. Definitely should be considered.

i used ciclocourse up in the sugarland area. they have the guru fit system which i liked a lot. george lai runs the shop and was a great guy to work with.

I would recommend Philip Shama at Shama Cycles. He has Guru fit machine, and also Retul.

If you just want someone else to look at you and offer pointers, give me a shout. I know Tad and Philip, and know they do good work. If you want a 3rd opinion, hit me up, and I’ll take a look and give a racer’s opinion.
