Looking for a nice pink helmet (not aero)

I’m looking for a nice SAFE helmet for my GF, but I can’t find anything. I know that Giro Ionos was made in pink, but not anymore?

anything else I should look for?
safety is really important, so I want a good one…

The Bell Lumen is available in pink. So is the Lazer Helium. Both meet all safety standards. The Lazer is a premium helmet, meaning it will be lighter and it has a nice retention system as well as the option to put a rain cover on it.

specialized is clearing out some of their older s-work helmets. they have pink helmets, but i think they are all size large

thanks for that, but yes they are all large…

I’ll check for that bell. I know Giro Ionos is available in magenta too.

Rudy Project Sterling comes in that crazy bright pink.

But yes looking around… Giro & Specialized… I was astonished not to find any pink… Yes I said “astonished.”

+1 for Rudy Projects!

A nice pink helmet for the GF eh?!! Fnar…

I ended up buying my wife a Lazer Nirvana in the pink/black. The colors are almost a matte finish if she likes that. The rollsys system seems really comfortable. Enough so that it has me thinking of replacing my Giro Atmos.

Not sure how you feel about NOS for helmets (new old stock), but I’ve purchased a pair of pink Giro Atmos off of Ebay - they’ve been sound, structurally. As a sidenote - I’ve found the Roc loc system the easiest to thread a ponytail through.

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but I came across this looking for another helmet: http://www.bcmultisport.com/Apparel/Mens/Helmets/New-Lazer-Oasiz-Cycling-p9747050.html
.

All bike helmets sold in the US have to meet the CPSC impact standard. Ironically the more expensive helmets may be less safe since they are trying to use the least foam possible (lighter weight, bigger vents) and still meet the standard. Since the test results aren’t published all you can really know is that the helmet passed, but not by how much.

Any of the top brands will do you good (Giro, Bell, LG, Rudy, Laser, etc.) go for the one that fits well and doesn’t break the bank.

Lots of options online: Ex. This Bell Solar is $30

the last model (atmos) is the most interesting, but I can’t find it anywhere…

Any good? I’ve never used the store myself, so can’t comment on it.
