Looking for 52/38 chainrings 130bcd

I’m in the search for a mid-compact chainring set that will fit on my non-compact cranks. I’ve seen a few people mention that there are some 52/38 setups available for 130bcd cranks, but I can’t seem to locate them for the life of me. Any ideas ST?

I don’t think a 38 inner exists in a 130 BCD except for Shimano 4 bolt 11 speed cranks. But I’m might be wrong.

For the outer Rotor has 52 noQ rings and all the way down to 50 for Q-rings.

I believe TA specialties makes a 38 tooth 130BCD. I would however recommend against that, going one tooth down in the front is a tiny increase in lower end gears (2% if i remember right). You’re better off getting the cassette that has an extra tooth on the low end, much cheaper, and no loss in front shifting quality.

I mean, SRAM and Origin8 both make 38t rings for 130bcd, and if I drop my big ring down to 52, will that really decrease my shift quality? Using an Ultegra 6800 FD, everything else is SRAM Red 10sp.

The SRAM chainring will shift better than the Origin8 I bet. Again, are you maxed out on the cassette? Why would you want to lose a tooth off the 53?

Stronglight do them.

I have a Stronglight 52x38 setup myself

I have 53/38 on one of my road bikes. It’s old Shimano 9 speed Ultegra and it shifts just fine. It’s a smaller jump than 50/34.
