Long sleeve shirt for sun protection in extreme heat / humidity?

Often I’ve found that many races will not mark my arms if I explain I’ll be wearing full sleeves. I think I only had one race deny that request. You could try that. Or just wait for it to fade out… AP

I just bought the De soto Skin cooler long sleeve shirt and plan to try it on my next long ride. If it works out I plan to use it for Augusta 70.3. My question is has anyone found a good way to get the sharpie out of the shirts or arm coolers?
I was also wondering if the Tri tats transferred less to the material on your arms.

You don’t have to be body marked despite popular misconception. I had marker bleed completely ruin a tri suit several years ago and I have walked right past body marking each and every race I’ve done since. It’s a stupid tradition.
