Sunday I had four (yes, four) flats on my ride. Had to walk the last 2.5 miles home.
Stopped by a local shop in town on the way home to get some tubes and a new tire. It was a newer shop in a “nice” section of town.
They had only one 700c tube in the whole shop. And only 1 kind of 700c tire to choose from. What is up with that? Either their inventory system is crap or the kid behind the counter had no idea where anything was stored.
I’m all for supporting the LBS, but there is little chance I’ll go back to that shop again. I’ll stick to the older shops in the older sections of town, or go online where the choices are so much better.
