Yeah, this isn’t an ios26 thing. It’s a forum thing.

I would disagree. I only have iOS 26 on my phone. I don’t have it on the iPad and the iPad works totally fine with the forum, as does the Windows desktop. For that I use Edge.

Phone is pretty much useless with the forum now. I’m thinking about taking the phone back to the Apple Store and making them put it back to 18.

I like iOS26 on the iPad because you can actually resize and move windows around now, somewhat like a computer.

Don’t know what’s up with the text edit box on this forum / discourse but it’ll probably get sorted out sooner or later.

Ok played around with it. The cursor sometimes gets in the wrong spot when the text box moves dynamically (like when the keyboard overlay pops up). If you try scrolling it up and down or closing and reopening the keyboard it sometimes resolves.

OK - I see that on the desktop.

As to what @spudone says - my entire screen goes frozen on my phone. I quit and go back in and the same thing happens. That’s with any kind of reply - just reply and type in (though it won’t let me type), or quote.

This change seems to be a Discourse thing. It happened on another Discourse forum I visit. Maybe a general software update?

Yes. I have the same issue on the new IOS (was also a problem in all the beta releases). Also about once a day the forum will just load a blank page with only the header. Refresh doesn’t do anything. Sometimes leaving and coming in via the front door helps, but not always. Very annoying, and precedes IOS 26 (also happens on my laptop).

I get it on my Windows laptop. It usually seems to happen around lunchtime. Maybe more users are affecting the server?

Another very annoying issue is the access blocking if I read a handful of threads in a row.

Thought I would revisit this post and say, ‘thank you.’ This is no longer occurring. I can read multiple threads quickly and not be blocked.
