Now that more people can use the advanced editor, this is becoming more and more of a problem (at least for me). When people make a word in a sentence a link, it is next to impossible to tell, I think it changes to a dark blue, but its close to black, and it does not underline it.
Ok, just tested, when you create the post it makes it light blue and underlined, but when it becomes a post, its not. Very weird.
By the way, there are 2 links in the first paragraph. (maybe this is just a firefox thing) no just checked Explorer does it also.
Well, after 2 yrs here, I just now noticed the word edited, is actually a link to the edit log. Maybe I’m blind. But in the advanced editor, when links they are a light blue and underlined, like most links, and they definetly are not underlined in the post.
No, they’re not underlined in your post. I assume it’s hard to see with normal color vision. But to me, the highlighted words just pop off the page. I’m weird like that though. I see things all the time in the grass/woods that others don’t see so easily. Of course, what color that thing is, is probably wrong but I still see it easier.
If it bothers you, you can set your own colors and fonts for links. In Firefox, go to Tools->Options; select “Colors…”, uncheck the box for “Allow pages to select their own colors”, and go to town.
Hmmmm, well that then changes all the colors, and oddly it did not change the links, or underline them even though the box was checked to underline links.
Is it possible the code is somehow hiding that they are links since its in the body of text?
Still seems odd to me that in the editor they show up correctly but on the forums pages they don’t
