Licor 43

Anyone try this?

Thinking of getting a bottle for summer cocktailing

It’s good to go in coffee, and to do a shot called a little beer in which you just add a little bit of cream on top. Other than that I wouldn’t say it’s something for summer cocktailing

Brings back bad memories of my teenage years.

I’ve had a bottle here and there. I think you will like it if you like sweet things. Claim to fame is that it’s based on 43 flavors, but the primary is vanilla. It’s often served as a digestif, but my personal preference is for a little more alcohol in those.

My plan is to mix it with ginger ale as an all day drink

But that math problem was solved years ago with the blended scotch highball (water or soda).

I tried it once maybe 20 years ago at some bar where they were giving out hats and I can’t remember if I liked it or not. I still have the hat in my garage though.

This is better

I’ve got a few small cans of Canada Dry bold ginger ale in the house. I’m out of 43 right now, otherwise I’d have already tried it.
Sounds interesting.

If you’ve ever had Nassau Royale and ginger, just like that

Bought some today. Soda water, lemon juice, Licor 43. This is an all day Summer drink.

I’m glad I found this

If you like L43, try Domaine Canton or St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur. All 3 make any cocktail outstanding, imho.
