What was his time gap to Evans?

Dave in VA

Because he had a teammate there.

Yup. Also class act for him to take bonus time over his teammate who has better chance of finding yellow in this tour. Makes you wonder…

Big props to Levi (I assume you’re joking). I’ve never seen him attack in the Tour, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. To ride up and attack again, good for him.

No one likes a whiney bitch, maybe next year the Chicken will keep his hands on his bars.

it looks like Levi will need 57 seconds on Cadel this Saturday. If Levi has his best day and Cadel is average its possible.

He gave everything he had to try and break Ras for his team mate, couldn’t, just about shattered himself. Dropped all the way back to 4th, regrouped and rode his way back to the leaders. Again tried to break Ras, couldn’t, dropped to third. His teammate cracked and he rode home in 2nd with AGONY etched on his face at the finish. Not a Levi fan (don’t dislike him either) but I thought he rode very well.

of course i wasn sarcastic… this message was a thumbs up to Levi and a littel wink to someone saying levi as no heart a few days ago… LEvi was awsome and a great teamates… you cant ask for more…

Levi didn’t let naked running guy beat him up that climb… that took heart!

yup, and to whoever said he was classless for taking the extra time from his team mate, gimme a break, he rode his balls off for him and he absolutely cracked, he cant hang around waiting for his mate to take 2nd…Levi is still racing for the podium
.

I think the yellow jersey has been conceded to Rasmussen.

In that case, Team Disco would probably have Levi take the time bonus in order to inch him closer to Evans and hopefully overtake him in the TT and have two guys on the podium.

What’s better, Contador on the podium 10 seconds closer to first (but still in second) or the possibility of 2 guys on the podium?

Yup. Also class act for him to take bonus time over his teammate who has better chance of finding yellow in this tour. Makes you wonder…
Sometimes you take one for the team, sometimes you don’t. Had they been together at the end he may have handed over the bonus but he’s got his own standings to watch out for as well and Contador couldn’t stay on the train.

Wonder what? Contador let his chances at yellow slip away. Leipheimer had to drag him to the top of the mountain, and taking 2nd, and taking the time bonus is just a little reward for the work he did.

That’s exactly it, they gave up with about 10k to go on the yellow. They knew the chicken was just too strong. There goal became to get time on Evans, and Levi was setting tempo in those last 5k, it was not an attack. One time he pulled off and the chicken actually gave him a push back to the front. Everyone is racing for 2nd and 3rd now, barring any disasters…

The naked running guy was good but who was it in the lead group that pushed the guy running along side him into a parked car? Now that was funny.

lol. I think that was Evans who pushed that guy… That was funny.

For as skinny as he is, he sure has the balls to push people around.

He was pushing Contador the other day, too.
