I don’t mind Bell as much as Butler. Bell is betting on himself at this point and is expecting to make up the difference he is losing with a huge contract next season. If he get’s injured during any point this year, the chances of that huge contract go out the window. I can’t blame him, NFL players (other than franchise QBs) are disposable. As far as the Steelers go, they are doing fine with Connor.
Butler on the other hand, is getting on my nerves. Waving a towel with GS fans? That’s classless. I wouldn’t want him on my team, if he gets unhappy he may go back to acting like a disgruntled pre-teen. He is hurting his stock as far as I’m concerned, much the same way that Machado hurt his stock during the playoffs with the dodgers.
I get Bell’s concern with production and risking injury, but 15 million is pretty sweet. If he was smart, he would have reported, signed tender and then strained a calf or hammy a few times during the season and sat out a few games. But, he has had some idiot whispering in his ear.
Butler is a dirty vag. His attitude is so ridiculous. I would suspend him for conduct detrimental…then Let him sit out without collecting money. Then trade him to the worst team possible.
