Leveling Treadmill in garage

Just got a new treadmill. Its in the garage as that is the only space I have big enough for it at the moment. The floor as a slight slope to it though. I have used the leveling feet on it, but they dont seem to do quite enough and are only on the back. Its close but I cant seem to get it there. If I shim one side to raise it, it gets wobbly and very shaky at higher speed.

Any have any expertise or tips?

My treadmill is sitting on an incline in my basement… (slope to drain by laundry) and I’ve just learned to live with it. Nice to do speedwork and tempo work on there and then feel like I’m running easy outdoors at the same pace. I consider it lazy man’s equivalent of wearing a weight vest in training. How bad is the angle? I think mine tacks on 2% so I just leave the mill set to 0.5%.

The problem is its sloped from side to side. So the right side is a hair higher than the left side. Ive tracked down part of the issue… one of the leveling feet doesnt seem to screw up or down. I loosened the locking nut but the bolt that has the foot attached to it is stuck and wont screw in or out. I was twisting the little foot at the bottom thinking it was turning, but I got down there and looked at it and it wasnt, it was just spinning the foot but not the bolt.

Thinking I have to call for a warranty guy to check it out.

Get wooden shims from the hardware store. If it’s not level from side to side and I assume the leveling feet are on the back you won’t get it right even if you call a warranty person. Do you have a spirit level? Start with the highest corner and raise the other corners to get the deck level.

Have you tried putting a 2x4 or a 1x4 on one of the ends? here is a video on how some people adjust their treadmills so they can run downhill too. It might sold your problem and let you run level.

no option to get a tiler in to re-float the floor? shouldn’t cost much.

Can you rotate the treadmill 90 deg so the it is on the up/down slope instead of the side slope?

Go to the Depot and get a couple of ceramic tiles
