Lemond Revolution with ANT+ Power Data?

I see a new version of the Revolution trainer is now on the Lemond website:

Nice look, but I didn’t see much on there about what the differences are from the first edition except for being 11-speed Shimano compatible.

However, I found another link with some interesting information:

The highlight is that an ANT+ power data transmitter will be available for the new version (it will work with the original as well). That is supposed to cost $249, which is less than the $399 Power Pilot unit. Has anyone heard more about this?

Dunno about the new versions, but Chainlove has the original model up today for $379. If you are interested in one, you may wanna start watching for it.

It looks like the ANT+ power data transmitter is listed for pre-sale on the Lemond website now, with delivery in late January. Not much information on the site, but I’ll be interested to see how well it works.

It also is supposed to work with the original trainer as well as the newest version. Pre-order at a $199.00 price tag, $50 off of list.

Just some info…
The only difference between the old one and the new one is the 11 speed ability but there is a update/modification you can purchase for them in order to do it

WattBox replaces the power pilot and will display on any Ant + the speed, power, average power, max power
Only thing it misses is the cadence

The wattbox is really tempting, and making me so glad I didn’t pull the trigger for a discounted PowerPilot.

The LBS was willing to mark it down to $220, but simple (and hopefully working) ANT+ power is so much more appealing.

I am going to pull the trigger on this today. Heading to the LBS after lunch.

Some good how to videos to sync with road trainer too.

Issues with speed but the guy with the videos seems to have sorted it out.
