I’m the lead promoter of Gravel Worlds in Lincoln, NE. We’re celebrating our 16th year as THE Gravel Worlds (Little “THE Ohio State” energy).
We’ve got a full weekend of gravel goodness. 3 Day Expo (70 vendors already signed up), love music, on site camping, affordable race entry fees, Run (50k, 25k, 10k, or 5k) on Friday, Bike (150, 75, 35, or 300) Saturday, and Triathlon/Duathlon (Sprint or Intermediate) on Sunday.
The Sunday Tri/Du will also be USAT Gravel National Championships.
I know a lot of tri humans are exploring more into gravel. We’d love to have you here in Lincoln.
I’m planning on being there, even though you don’t have an aqua bike event. Anything we should know about traveling there? Is it easy to find hotels and restaurants? I don’t think I realized it was going to be a Lauf event–so that’s exciting. They seem like an interesting bike!
I was hoping to be there, my son is graduating Navy officer training the 23rd in Rhode Island, so it’s just a bit too tight to get to the race…
maybe next year…
I’ll be there for my 5th year in a row. Rented an RV and will be just a few hundred yards from the start/finish Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The weather looks unbelievable. I don’t know that any of the past 5 years have been under 90 degrees and last year was so, SO hot. The route south on the 150 essentially between checkpoints 1 and 2 was so brutal.
