Dude, you must have been out training or something.
This was posted twice this week already!
What are the distances/speeds like for your Saturday rides these days? I’ve been out with Leo doing S-L-O-W base mileage, but have to get my ass in gear for Oliver.
OOPs! Sorry working too hard to check out the site!
If the weather holds 4hrs easy riding mostly the flat Iona/Steveston/Dykes. Pretty much the same as the Oliver course, flat. We go out on Sat mornings, want to join us?
If the weather is crap we ride the rollers and the CT. I have yet to convince the wife to join me in an an indoor brick!
Hows the fixie, I want to try one. Next year the new skill is fixie on the rollers!
Sweet - sounds like a plan. I’ll talk to Leo and confirm. We’ve been riding in the rain, and my 12yr old booties just weren’t up to the task. Picked up a new pair this week so I’m good to go regardless of the weather conditions.
If you’d like to borrow the fixie for a bit, be my guest - it’s a blast! I can only ride one bike at a time, and these days I don’t have time to ride much at all.
I’m ready to ride you guys! See ya Saturday bright and early.
Khai, those miles we did on the Stanley Park ascent were definitely NOT slow base miles! We may have been going slow, but my PE felt like high-tempo!
Cheers,
Leo
Sure they were slow base miles… I’m building base… I’m slow. ![]()
SimpleS - just let us know where you want to meet, and what time. We’ll be there!
We will see the fruits of all the winter labor in two days.
