ivve been using clif bars for training and im s but ive come across a lot of the cashew cookie larabars…i noticed they have twice as much fat …half the protein …a little less sugar than clif… i reckon i mite use larabars?? ???
I love larabars, cherry pie is killer, and you can get them at Costco, I prefer them over Clif Bars. I can digest them easier, so I like eating them on the bike. I think they are a little more expensive then Clif Bars, and they have a shorter shelf life then Clif, and they are a better fit for the “Paleo” diet…but best of all, they are super easy to make:

Larabars are very tasty, made the switch after looking for a cheaper alternative to the new HammerBar…That are both raw in form, and easily digestible. You can get 4 larabars for 5 dollars vs 4 Hammer Bars for 10 Bucks…
I’ve been thinking about making this change as well. My concern is during race pace efforts is the fat content of Larabars too much and not an ideal thing to consume versus the more simple carbs of the Clif bar. I think for everyday use that Larabars are nutritionally superior but not sure for long training or races. Any thoughts?
maybe tha larabars are lower gycemic??
