Levi is sitting in 5th place, and he’s already won a stage race this year, Tommy on the other hand has trouble finishing stage races because he’s constantly getting sick (which is why he didn’t start the tour apparently) He doesn’t have the leadership experience to lead a team in the tour. Levi’s only 3:37 back. but noone could ever make that much time up in 8 stages, no way.
Have you ever followed stage racing? even if Tommy did come to the tour, he would have two jobs, to pull Levi up the climbs, and retrieve water bottles from the team car.

Kind of raises another question though. I did not see a bunch of Discovery guys just spinning through the TT, saving their legs to support Levi, quite the opposite actually. Contador did surprisingly well and is a minute up on Levi. Gusev, Popovich, and Georgie also pretty much buried themselves and ended with good results. Makes me wonder if Johan is still trying to figure out who his leader is... Anybody, anybody?
There is also a team competition and Discovery just moved into 2nd place.

maybe because he talks the talk… a lot. He sure seems to think that he can win the TdF. My vote is for Contador though, he is a monster and a much better climber, and TT’er…

Because he has NO heart and does not ride like a champion. Levi will never win the Tour, end of story. However he does an excellent job going back to the team car to get water for Contador and I think he needs to focus more on that aspect of his racing!
