I have a 10 year old road machine and I noticed on the power curve chart that my power meter displays more watts (50 ish at any given speed) than the power curve would suggest. Anyone else notice this?
The curve needs an offset based on the number of turns on the resistance knob pushing the resistance unit against your tire. 1/2 a turn more, or 1/2 a turn less and you should see big shifts in the alignment of the curve.
Thanks, that makes sense.
Really close to my PM with 4.5 turns

I read before that in order to line up with the published curve, a coast down check with the unit at room temp should take about ~11.8 sec and after a warm-up period it’ll be ~2 sec longer. Right or not that’s how I set my KK up with 110PSI in the conti trainer tire.
