Kuota K Factor

Anyone have any pics of a white Kuota K factor? I’m dyin to see one

built one up for a friend of mine a few months ago (we got one of the first ones out I believe) and it’s a goooorgeous bike. Seriously, as long as you ignore that hideously bulbous saddle (which we replaced instantly) it looks better than most uber $$$ bikes out there. Very similar paint to the other white’n carbon Kuotas. Amazing what you can get for $2K these days! R&A (www.racycles.com) was the source of this bike.

will bug my friend and see if she has any pictures of her bike

I will try to post pictures of mine tonight, and then have everyone rip away. I was originally going to go with the nude color frame, but Cadence was just getting in the blk/whits when I was getting mine.

This is the one that I got last year. That color scheme was a limited run for 2006 and the 2007’s have grey instead of red pinstriping.

Beautiful Bike! White is definitely the prime color.

Mine is the 2007 with the grey outline striping, and I think I like yours better with the red! I have red tires as well with some red from my Mavic rims, and it doesn’t go as well as yours does. Excellent ride. Enjoy.

Came home today and bike was gone. This was a very limited paint scheme - white with the red accents, braking is setup MC style(front on right side). Tempe AZ, McClintock and Alameda area.

Any tips would be appreciated.

My first serious bike was a white K-factor. Gorgeous bike. Please excuse the terrible position. This was from before I knew what stack and reach were/

Oops, just realized how old this thread was. Sorry about your bike. I’d suggest contacting any tri/cycling groups in the area to keep a look out and scour ebay and craigslist to see if you can get a lead on it.

My wife has been riding a white Kuota just like the one in the photo since 2006. When she bought it she was told the white frame was being sold in Europe and Canada - her bike was assembled by a shop in SE PA. She also rides with red tires. Very sharp combo.

You might want to start a new thead with a subject stating stolen bike in your town/state so more folks look at it.

Good luck on recovering your bike!
