Do you know the CD “Tour de France” from Kraftwerk. Its highly recommended for anyone interested in riding a roadracebike. Start with track # 9 “Elektro Kardiogramm”. Of course my own favorite track is # 8 “Titanium”.
regards,
Frank

Hi Frank
I don’t know the CD, but I have one video clip of some 1950’s footage of the Tour, where the background music is Kraftwerk’s Tour de France.
I tought it was a song, not an album. Will have to do some researching…
Regards,
Rick
Thanks, Frank.
I had heard that this was in the works and it would seem that this CD is out. Unfortunately, from what I have read the orginal version of “Tour de France” is not on the new CD, nor does it appear anywhere else in the Kraftwork discography.
The orginal version was released in 1983 on 12" vinyl and was one of those limited editon releases. We had one at my Campus Radio Station, CFRU, at the University of Guelph in Guelph Ontario. I recall playing in on my show a number of times - it was a great tune.
I also like the CD. Very good as training or studying background.

I will have to track down a copy. I just recently got turned on to Blue Man Group. I just scored “Audio” (and paid cash;-)). It’s not the hard, fast metal I like for intervals, but it is pretty groovin’ stuff. They make many of their own instruments out of PVC pipe as well as having a 30 foot tall drum!

Bought it three to four months ago after reading about it in Velonews. Save your $15-20. I enjoy techno, but the CD really isn’t listenable.
