Koobi Tri saddles were the hot thing a few years ago. Anyone still riding one now? Can pick up one very inexpensively and am looking for opinions. Have Azoto Tri Gel now and like it. Looking at the Koobi for my training bike.
Thanks,

I’ve had a couple Koobi saddles that I’ve been quite happy with, but if you already have a saddle you’re happy with, I’d stick with that on both bikes. Just my opinion, but I’d prefer to have as few variables as possible when switching between bikes.
Saddles are kind of like shoes, clothing, bikes, condoms and lots of other things-depends on what fits and works for you, or you get used to. Having said that-nothing works better for me than Koobe saddles. I have three different styles of them and two of the tri saddles (one on my mountain bike). I recently bought another bike that came with a popular saddle-I usually get my shop to swap them out, but thought I would give it a try-one week and my new koobi is on order.
I’ve been riding a Koobi Au Enduro with a QR saddle cover for 2 years and I love it. I think I picked it up for like $65.
I’ve got one that I’ve been riding for a year and a half and I am very happy with it. I bought it straight from Koobi since they offer a 30 money back satisfaction guarantee. By the reviews on www.roadbikereview.com people either love it or hate it.
I have a Koobi Au enduro gel, which is similar to the Tri, but has a leather cover (and is a lot cheaper). Even with the split it got a little uncomfortable after 40-50 miles. I recently put on a QR cover (the bigger one). Now it is a few millimeters too wide at the nose, but VERY comfortable. I’m thinking about making a cover with thinner neoprene and some extra on the top, so that it isn’t so wide at the nose.
