Genuinely too close to call. If I was forced to pick…my head says LCB, who’s running seems to have improved somewhat and we all know about the swim/bike. Good luck to all the athletes though. 
Does anybody know why only 1600 women are racing?? The venue can fit another 1000 athletes, right?

Flop Taylor and Chelsea and you have what I think happens.
Well, part of it was by design: IM only offered 1500 qualifying slots to women this year, as opposed to 2400 for men. Kelly O’Mara detailed that in her newsletter this week.
So definitely a deliberate choice as they approached going back to one-day.
I believe they’re targeting around 2800 entries for next year, expecting roughly 2600 starters, as they look to build towards getting about 3000 entries in place.
