it was brutally hot in atlanta last weekend and i rode 6hrs on sat followed by a run. i felt something in my knee but no big deal. the next day on my long run, i felt a definite soreness and i haven’t been able to run or bike since. even pushing off the wall swimming hurts. monday and tuesday i had a headache and stomache ache as well from what i’m guessing is dehydration from the weekend. i just couldn’t get in enough fluids and i hardly peed. i’m feeling normal today but my knee is still sore. it used to be on the top but it’s kinda moved to the front (i think). i’m icing, ibuprofen, etc.
anyway, i’ve heard that you can get tendonitis from dehydration. anyone else have this or anything like it? what did you do?
i’m aqua jogging and swimming until i can resume running/biking.
