Kiwami - Great customer service

After seeing another thread about Kiwami trisuits, I decided to email Kiwami about possibly getting a sample trisuit. I am a small top and XS bottom so I have yet to find a one piece that fits properly.

Andre at Kiwami sent me both the XS and S in both the Spider2 Aero LD. The suits were amazing quality and pockets for gels and sponges were awesome. However, they both did not fit since I have a 37" chest and 32" hips. Probably stuck with separate piece tri suits.

I just wanted to post this here because in this day an age of scammer brands and horrible customer service, Kiwami as a brand stands out as superior quality and even better customer service.

I’m thinking of sending my suit back to them to redo my name stencil. One letter is on a seam and looks like two letters. Makes it hard to read turning my name into something… objectionable to some people. Haha. I bet they will do that no problem.

Yup - totally agree. In a world of a lot of bad customer service, Kiwami makes it very refreshing to be treated well as a customer. They respond to questions, have an actual person to talk to who KNOWS the product and will care about your purchase. I wish other companies emulated Kiwami’s customer service (like my cable provider!!!).

I agree 100%. Love the trisuit, superb service and Andre is a gem despite having some serious issues he has had to deal with…and I respect him greatly.

Yup, Andre is great to work with. Very accommodating.

Having worked with Andre for many years, I also chime in with the utmost in respect. He’s truly interested in providing the best service and a superior product. One thing many don’t know is that the founders of the company (Craig and Helene) and Andre are amazingly dedicated and talented athletes in their fields. Every one has a pedigree we could only wish for ourselves if you went to check their results and all 3 have been or are at the pointy end of the sport. Thus they really know the sport better than most and apply that knowledge into each and every product. Yes, I am on the Kiwami team, but because I actively sought it out knowing it was the top of the heap, and always striving to be better than last year’s awesome lineup.

X3 I did a team order way back in 2015, Andre was very nice but what impressed me most was his timelines in terms of sublimation etc and how the graphics came out just as expected.

I remember he quoted a 2 week timeline to Kamloops (interior BC) and I was like yeah right…and he delivered on time!

A lot of athletes have moved on 4-6 times in suits and most are on current gen Kiwami. Our loose training group is about 80-90% women so now there are sufficient suits around that we get sizing perfect before ordering.

I would like to add that I find Kiwami’s trisuits and bike gear to be some of the most comfortable clothing I’ve worn. As well, I feel it’s helped me achieve great results in my cycling and triathlon races. I liked it so much I applied for and was fortunate enough to be able to join the Kiwami North American racing team. As a company they work with you to help you find what works best for you. On a performance level their clothing is top notch and well made. I recommend anyone looking for tri clothing and swim wear to check them out!!! And yes, in this day and age, great customer service is awesome to find!!! We should all celebrate that when it happens!!! Cheers!
