Kids/youth running watch - Suggestions?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to get a watch for my daughter to help her with pacing now that she is running longer distances. Right now, she has a good “feel” for what pace she wants to hit, which is what I wanted before going down this road, but the time has come to get her one to help her progress.

Does anyone have good suggestions that are geared more towards running and pace, and not an activity tracker?
Something that is easy to navigate would also be best.

Thanks, in advance

Timex Ironman.

The Forerunner 45 should get the job done. The 55 and 245 are about the same price right now. I got my son the 245 for the larger screen.

I’m a big fan of the entry level forerunners. My mum got me a 35 when I first started running and I used it until it died, even once I got a bit more performance focused. it’s definetly “stripped-down” but I think that’s a good thing in some ways- does the important stuff well, pretty user-friendly and durable in it’s simplicity, and lower-profile compared to something like a Fenix if you’re using it for daily wear. The sleep tracking and optical HR are fairly accurate in my experience as well- obviously not as good as a strap, but tracks pretty closely for me and good enough in a pinch. (I’d suspect it would be fine for those who are just running for general fitness/enjoyment)
