Kickr "skips" at incline on Zwift

has anyone experienced a “skipping/slipping” with a kickr when using zwift? I can put out any wattage/cadence combo under 8% incline no problem, but once I hit an incline of 8% or great the kickr acts as though the chain/cassettes is slipping/skipping, etc. almost feels internal

…just seems to happen when the kickr simulates incline. chain and cassette are fairly new.

Can you point a phone or action camera at the chain/cassette and then get it to “skip”? That would help narrow down whether the chain is not seating correctly into the gears vs no issues with the chain/cassette but the kickr pulley belt slipping or something else…

Early or late model, as in what type of belt does the kicker use?
If a late model then the Gates toothed style could skip if under tensioned, but an early ribbed serpentine style could only slip and will usually squeal if it did.

Thank you - I believe it is the belt - ill try my hand at replacing it. appreciate the help.
