Long time forum regular Khai(Lee) is cycling across Canada. He’s just over a week into it, riding from Kit’s Beach in Vancouver to St. Johns, Newfoundland.
He’s got an excellent Blog going noting his various advantures along the way:

Thank’s for the link Seve,I was wondering where the little bugger was as I’m heading off toward Penticton tomorrow.
Go Khai,great updates mate!!!
.
He’ll have a blast celebrating once he gets to St. John’s. I heart that town.
God speed & safe travels, Khai!
Cheers, Chris
Awesome! When I first read his avg speed and top speed stuff I was thinking mph (us damn yankees) and had no idea that Khai had been doing HGH non stop for the last year.

Nick,
I am probably going to get hammered for this, but what I liked about what Khai was/is doing is that, he’s just doing it. He’s not riding for some charity or some sponsors or anyone else - not that there is anything wrong with that, it’s just that recently this kind of thing has become completely over-blown and now almost everything like this is done for some charity or for something.
No, he’s doing it for those Edmund Hillary reasons - “Because it’s there” and/or to “knock the bastard off”. It’s an extraordinary endurance challenge riding a bike across this vast country, that not that many people do, and he wanted to do it. Kudos to him, and may the Trans-Canada be a safe road for him.
is he staying aero the whole way?

He’s riding a fully loaded touring bike.
However, his loaded down bike does look a bit like some of the bikes I see heading out of T1 at IM races!!

That’s funny, right there!
Go Khai…for the love of cycling!
Agreed 100%. Or 95.742% to account for today’s exchange rate.
I’ll take my adventures straight up, and I’ll give to charities without asking them to put on an event and fete me at the finish.
Go Khai.
Thanks Steve, and everyone else. I’m currently taking a breather in Swift Current, SK.
Anyone got a line on a good massage therapist either in Moose Jaw, Regina, or Winnipeg? The body isn’t loving the daily thrashing and could use a tune up…
Other than that it’s been pretty awesome thus far. Very friendly people, great drivers, and so far, excellent weather. My bike has been pretty solid, but the engine needs work.
Very cool! GL on your journey!
Don’t know about a massage therapist… but if you like beer, Regina has this incredible brew pub:

Sask.?!!! You must have burned through Alberta pretty darn fast!!.
Yeah he did. I get to follow him on his GPS tracker, so I check his progress several times a day (it’s a bit addictive actually)… His trek thru AB looked like:
Pretty speedy. But that is the skinny part of AB, now he has the fat part of SK.
AP
Khai…sending MAXIMUM JEALOUSY your way. Enjoy the heck out of the ride!
Khai,
Wife and I are members of this organization http://www.warmshowers.com/
When you get to eastern Ontario you’re quite welcome to stay with us. PM when you see this post.
In Regina, I go to Garret Woynarski at the Chiropractic Health center on 4141 Albert St South (306-359-3060). And x2 on the Bushwakker. Very easily the best brew pub in town!
Way to go Khai, have a great trip!
yeah and

I had an opportunity to drive through crowsnest pass on my way to Boise a couple weeks ago. As you pointed out in your blog it truly has some amazing views.
Is there somewhere on your blog that shows the path you are taking across the country? I suspect you are going through AB near Calgary but if you happen to be near Edm let me know.
"is he staying aero the whole way? "
Of course. Look how fast he got across Alberta. He should be at our door here in eastern Ontario in a day or two.
