Kevlar gloves for trail running (and falling)?

i seem to be prone to falling on sharp stones on trail runs - last year got 4 stiches on a palm, and last wekend seriously cut my finger on a night trail run (above the open cycling gloves palm protection)

will kevlar gloves protect my hands while falling? if yes - what kind are better for the task?

Do you plan on fending off bullets like Wonder Woman? If not then just use cycling gloves until you get better at running in technical terrain.

Hand held water bottles will help. I use two hand held water bottles when I run. They help reduce dehydration and they give me something with some cushion to fall on. Give them a try.

i ran with two bottles in hands. they just flew far and wide when i fell

I use two amphipod bottles. They come with straps and while falling may cause the bottles to burst I have never had the containers fly of my hands.
