Anyone ever ride on one of these things?
I’ve had one for about a year and have logged a couple thousand miles on it. Very good trainer. You can set the power (watts) either dependent or independent of cadence. It has an 80lb flywheel which helps smooth your pedal stroke. I like it much better than my old fluid trainer. First off I’m not about to put my 16.5lb tri bike on a trainer and trash the frame. Second the power settings are invaluable to track your progress day to day and week to week. Also the unit has a built in HRM. It is practically silent which my family appreciates at O dark thirty when I ride it. The only trainer I might consider (and I mean might) instead of the Kettler is a computrainer but only if I put a cheap steel frame on it.
