Seen this old Kestrel for sale. 57cm frame. any idea what typical rider height this will best suit?
anyone?
I used to have a 57cm Talon. Great bike. It was totalled when I was hit by a motorcyclist unfortunately.
I ended up on a 58cm Cervelo S2. I’m just over 6’ tall.
I don’t know but I have a 52 that I use for trainer/roller rides and it runs more like a 54 on other brands. My guess it runs a bit larger in stack (and shorter reach) than most
Actually i found a chart for you
cheers Paul!
I have a 57cm Kestrel Talon (Its black from a different year’s make). I am 6’ 0" and weigh 165 lbs. It fits me better than my 56cm Blue Triad (which I had to make space for to raise the cockpit about 2") and better than my 58cm Cannondale Slice (which I just have to ride 2" forward on the nose of the saddle). I have long arms and am very flexible. The center height is really high on my Talon which is what I needed for my fit.
This is the wrong bike. That data is for the 2016 Road model. What the OP posted is a 2010 Tri (105 or Force). I am guessing that that geometry isn’t the same. Probably close though.
