Keeping aero extension end caps in

Anyone have tips for keeping these end caps in place? I’ve tried electrical tape and that works for a little bit, but eventually the pop off again. Anyone have any other tips?

Maybe try increasing the diameter of the hole where the cables exit the end cap. Looks like they are exiting at a sharp angle.

Try silicone rescue tape; much grippier than PVC electrical tape.

New PD end caps don’t stick out as far with the aim of reducing the leverage the cable can apply on the cap.
But they don’t appear to be available individually yet so may not be much help.
