Yes, I have a lot of time on my hands these days. I am graduating this weekend and I finished my last classes on Monday night so I am kinda just chillin, training, house cleaning, yard work, and of course, what any other man (er triathlete) would do in his spare time…go down to Wal-Mart and pick up the new Veet he has been seeing commercials for, duh?
It cost $6.27 (cheaper than buying new razors).
The “shaving” cream is in a can and looks just like any other real shaving cream. Spread this on a section of your legs, I divided my legs into 4 parts, upper knee and lower knee each leg. The can says wait at least three minutes and no more than eight then test hair removal with the plastic “blade”. I found 5 minutes was perfect. Hair came off easy. No bad (that bad) smell, no burn, no pain, very easy. I give Veet a 9/10. Traditional shaving I give a 7/10 because I always cut myself. So Veet is definetly better.
Since I just did it this morning I have no idea about grow back time?
Please report back in a day or two. My problem with shaving always emerges the next day when the razor burn kicks in big-time if I did something wrong.
This is the first time I ever use anything other than a razor and I was wondering the same thing, can it be used on other parts of the body? I might try my chest and stomach but I don’t know about my face? I don’t see why it would be any different but the can reads, “Do Not use on face, or ears, on moles, breast nipples, perianal, or genital areas.”
Oh Shit! As I kept reading the bottle it says “Do not sunbathe or swim for 24 hours after use.”
Good thing I swam this morning and am not going to again till Friday. But I do have a ride planned this afternoon so I will definetly be in the sun.
Also, my legs are a little dry but not bad enough for lotion. Also very smooth, same as shaving. I will update in a few days.
