A training partner has just come back from Australia recommending juice plus. I’ve sniffed about the internet over the last few days and am quite sceptical - not helped due to the pyramid-type selling scheme they appear to have going on. Anyhow, I don’t take anything other than a multi as I have a well balanced diet but would be interested on an intellectual level to hear any unbiased views on the ‘science’ behind this product.
BTW, I have no affiliation with any drug companies blah blah blah…
I use it. It is my attempt to try and eat more fruits and veggies. I usually eat the gummie ones b/c my kids don’t like them. No help on the “science” of it though - sorry.
Juice Plus is basically your daily dose of fruits/veggies packed in a capsule–they are NOT vitamins. Sorry I’ve never actually used Juice Plus, just sat through a sales pitch once. If you struggle to get enough fruits/veggies in your daily diet, Juice Plus might be beneficial. They’ve been the title sponsor of the St. Jude (Memphis) Marathon for the past 2 or 3 years, FWIW. Good luck.
