Sam Laudlow also on a Wove saddle in Nice

That’s not a wove. Forget the name but it’s like a $1200 saddle.

Prologo. I believe Pogi rides one too.

Maybe not so much moving forward with the recent airballs. He can only come out with 15 watt savings’ so many times that no one else can replicate before people start to call BS.

Wait, what. Where can I get these airballs? I assume they help keep a rolling turbulent layer next to the bike/rider? How long do they last, is it a case of a one time thing, or are they consumable and need refilling for each race? Ca you send me a link to some instagram posts that show them being used in sunny beachside locations please.

:joy: we really need a laugh emoji along with the heart! You know triathletes would pay top dollar for some airballs!

And if I stuck some carbon fibre strands to them and doubled the price I’d be able to sell hairy pro airballs. Ok, that was a step too far. Sorry.

But genuinely, I actually did buy one of the ‘mega $$$ next great thing’ items 18 months ago, and saw all the instaposts, etc. But the actual delivery was so late that I cancelled it and got my money back. I’m not regretting not getting it with a NZ$1k more in my bank. And I was really tempted by some very popular bars as I want to address a particular need I have, so this isn’t just a ‘go faster’. But I’m actually put off by all the instaposts and hyperbole. Genuinely I’ve gone and added it to my cart several times, but just at the end my ‘if it sounds too good to be true it is a scam’ sensor says that if someone is finding the time/need to put 5 advertising posts up a day then that to me doesn’t match with a sound effective quality product. I’m actively put off when I see all the ‘sheep’ flocking to something in a very public way.

What was the mega $ next big thing your were thinking about?

Danielle Lewis

So.. I will have to say this is the first time I have seen one of these in person..

ZERO way I would buy this one for anything more than maybe ONE small bottle. Watching her ride on the Queen K was like watching her bottles bounce around like a bunch of balloons at a bounce house.

Why, you think it’s just a matter of time before it snaps off?

FastTT bars.

The structural integrity of how the fin attaches to the saddle really varies depending on which saddle you have. For my Stella it bolts directly into the saddle as opposed to needing to be attached to the saddle rails.

I’d honestly trust that config even less than the rail setup

From fatigue as opposed to one 1.5kg bounce? At one of the two bolt holes as stress risers?

How does this avoid it? No bolts visible.

Boy you’re just causing all sort of shit aren’t you

Im confused at your question. These two things aren’t even in the same category. You’re trying to compare EZ gains that is 100% shitty 3d Printed with all sorts of connection points that can fail if not tighten to a solid piece of carbon fiber.
