Anyways- This is my taper week,so I need to really behave with the food situation.

I’m thinking Ground Turkey Tacos, but instead of corn or flour tortillas, just serving them on crispy iceberg lettuce leaves.

Big bowl of salad w/ avocados and almonds.

And for desert…blueberries w/ a smidge of lo-cal whip cream.

And of course 1 Aspen light to wash it all down.

So whats on your menu?

Home-bbqed beef baby back ribs and baked beans from a can. Watermelon is the late night snack tonight.

Man- I love ribs.

When the season is over I’m going to eat a ton of Baby Backs and a couple of onion ring logs! mmm.

Watermelon rocks. Tons of Lycopene and awesome for pre- race hydration.

I just had a tuna sandwich. That was dinner. Yippee.

But I do have a “list” started of all the things I plan to eat shortly after July 24.

Pizza

Beer, beer, beer.

Nachos and salsa.

More ice cream.

Big dinner at Luchita’s (mex restaurant in NE Ohio).

What is wrong with a flour tortilla or two during a taper?

nothing really,except that I have my carbs during breakfast and lunch.
By dinner - I keep it as lean as possible.

My volume is very low this week.
Just light stuff.
