Frodeno seems to where a very thin belt and not an aero specific one which more people are using, but it is lightweight and keeps the number belt very flush with the back and aero dynamic even without having velco ect… to keep it stuck down on his back.

anyone know specifcally which one this it ?
Do you have a picture? I mentioned this before in another recent thread, but pick up some Dritz elastic at your local Wal-mart or Amazon. Cut it to size, tie a knot, double knot it and attach the bib number with safety pins. This is what Frodeno and many used for many years. It is cheaper and lighter by about 15g if IIRC while dry, and you don’t have to worry about the buckle. Just slip it on over your head out running out of transition. I also find it is more durable and gives better than the race bands that are on the market.

Yes i thought it might be just that but assumed he would have a more proffesionally made version ? Seems to work very well compared to the race belt of other pro’s which flap in the wind a lot
I forgot my race belt in a 70.3 last year. My wife went out and bought a roll of elastic, cut it to size and stitched it together. I safety pinned my bib to it. It worked just fine
My regular race belt is not much different. It just has a clasp. I like my race belt to sit on my waist not my butt so I cinch it tight and only wear it on the run. I found if I were it high, it sits nice and flat and I forget about it
