Jackie Hering’s new podcast “The Women’s Race”

While the dudes at PTN struggle to pronounce the difference between woman and women, Jackie Hering has a new podcast that is filling the gap in long distance triathlon racing after the demise of Feisty’s Ironwomen podcast. It’s a nice low-T complement to the TTL podcast and a bit easier on the ears than the Feisty Triathlon pod with Kelly O’Mara, Katie Zaferes and Joanne Murphy (Ironman announcer) that replaced the Haley Chura/Alyssa Godesky pod about women’s tri.

Hering’s podcast is called “The Women’s Race” and she chats with top endurance tri athletes like Paula Findlay and Holly Lawrence. It’s about five episodes in, and so far, pretty good. She’s got a great sense of humor and nice insights from the perspective of someone who’s been at the top of the sport for a long while.

Why did Feisty stop? I had the impression they would have gone on forever

I did listen to the one with Sophie Evans a few days ago and I liked it. Jackie has a really pleasant voice for this.
I have to admit I lasted 15 min with the feisty tri pod a few weeks ago.
I thought some of the ones from Chelsea burns were really good ( some not so good) but sadly she seems to have stopped.

for German speakers there is one by danyela blymehl podcast some of them are really good ( and while sodaro tries to say she is the first and only mum in tri, Daniela is relay one of the very first pro mums in the sport with the oldest about 15 years old and now a triple mum and she still podiumed at IM South Africa.

I don’t have any insight into the decision. I thought Hayley and Alyssa were very good together.
