Anyone know when the first draft legal ITU championship race was and where? the info I keep finding seems to be off…

Maybe Cleveland 1992.

Edit…1992 was in Muskoka, but I can’t remember if it was draft legal.

I think that Cleveland had worlds in 1996 maybe? I do remember a draft legal race in Cleveland though in 1992.

1994 I am pretty sure. Michellie Jones won 1992 & 1993 World Championships. She sat out 1994 because of drafting being allowed.

I’m pretty sure the first time the ITU championship race was draft legal was the 1995 race in Cancun, Mexico.
