Have a nice day all…

nice paint job… but is that saddle comfortable tilted so far down?
whatever works i guess

Cheers

David

I took my HED front disc out today for its first ride, and I chose a much too windy course, with 20 mph winds

It was like sailing! Very difficuly but possible. Kind of like riding a mountain bike on a trail at night … with no lights. I could not see the wind gusts when they hit me.

I’ll try for a calm course, but so far so good, it added some real speed.

Is a front disk even legal for USAT? I race a lot in Colorado and the thought of riding one in the cross-winds scares the hell out of me. Sweet bike though.

yes, a front disc is UCI and USCF legal, but I only use it on a closed course, one way, calm wind TT course

and yes, it is scary in the wind, as I found out yesterday, but coming from a MTB background - it was not too bad.

it will be great for the low to no wind morning TT’s

Very nice…for a red bike.

Gary – Do you ever use a powermeter on TT courses?

Thank you …

Yes the saddle is good like that for me…

i am still about 15-20 pounds too heavy… with the seat tilted like that… it seems to help with my flexibility…

hopefully when i lose the wieght that i want, i will be abble to tilt the seat closer to level…

thanks again…

Noooooo…!!!

Never ride in 20mph winds dude…

i ride in 15mph winds MAX!!! if it gets to 20… i will try to just finish my TT… But if its 20mph when i start… I throw on the Tri-spoke…

Good luck to you…

I hope to see some pics of your bike soon…
