James, the humidity feels a hell of a lot higher than that. After I finally got off 290 last night, I realized I was stuck to the seat of my car.
Damn right.
That’s why I head out of my air conditioned home thru the air conditioned garage, get in my air conditioned car, get out in my building’s air conditioned garage, take the air conditioned elevator to my air conditioned office, and do the reverse when leaving.
So I had no friggin idea it was that hot & humid outside today, guess I’ll go to my air conditioned health club for a workout on the tread mill tonight.

Excellent - wife and I will be making up for the fact that we missed our normal Tuesday late afternoon training ride with some moderate paced laps at Memorial park.

It is 2:00pm here in San Diego…haven’t seen the sun all day…it is about 68 degrees and June gloom overcast and cool. Very unmotivating to get out and run in. Will make tonights Aquathlon at La Jolla shores a cool ocean swim and 3 mile run on the beach seem even colder. This is summer here in June.

Me to, except for that part about the air conditioning! We have a detached garage that is not air conditioned at home, and come to think of it, the parking garage at work is not air conditioned either. Also, regardless of whether I am in the Expedition or the Miata, in the afternoons I try to acclimate for training rides on the way home so I drive with the windows down (top down on Miata) and AC off when the suns out!
I think I’ll quietly mention how glad I am I moved to Denver last year.

North Central ILlinois here. It’s 4:30PM and I just got back from a 40min run. RealFeel temp = 101F … and it’s the coolest day of the week.
Hey did I mention that our AC stopped working Tuesday morning, and the repairman could get to it this afternoon at the earliest?
Days like today are why I tell those “Ooooh, I wish summer were here” people to shuddup, b/c it’s beautiful in April. Of course, those folks never left the indoors today, even though they got their wish.

Just checked channel 13 weather page. Humidity is now 64% & 96. Don’t even want to know the heat stress index. Planning on track workout at Memorial Park tonight at 6 PM.
Got a feeling it is going to be special.
